That one of the greatest thrash albums of all time was recorded by a bunch of teenagers (or barely even that…drummer Andy Galeon was only 14 years old) still remains one of metal’s great success stories. Metallica’s Kirk Hammett produced the Kill as One demo for Death Angel, and that, along with a fearsome live reputation (the band played L.A. and NYC despite their tender ages) led to their signing with Enigma and recording The Ultra-Violence in a mere three days. That’s how tight these kids were…listen to “Evil Priest” and “Final Death” and prepare to be awestruck by their precocity, velocity, and ferocity. We’ve remastered this 1987 classic for vinyl and included an insert with lyrics and band photo. Smoking crater vinyl pressing!
